After having a lot of fun building the digital oscilloscope from a kit I decided to tackle a signal generator kit next . This makes a perfect match for the scope and will be useful checking circuitry. Dies ist das erste „Alterungs“-Projekt mit den Trockenfarben von Pan Pastells. Ich bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Da Übung bekanntlich den Meister macht, sind schon schon weitere Projekte in Planung. Als Grundlage diente ein sogenannter BethGon Coalporter, welcher von den FreightCar America in großer Anzahl gefertigt wurde. Das an sich schöne Modell von Athearn, welches ich in meinem bevorzugten Modellbahngeschäft in der Bay Area- The Trains Store in Santa Clara- erstand, wurde ohne weitere Zurüstung zum Altern geschickt.
